After our carry up to Camp I yesterday, one of our
teammates—Jake, a firefighter from Fort Worth, TX—was not feeling well (he
vomited on the way down from Camp I) and had really low blood pressure. The
doctor gave him some medicine but unfortunately he has not improved so he will
be medevac’d out by helicopter tomorrow. We are all very sad to see him go. On
a slightly more positive note, the teammate who got hit by the rock slide
yesterday is in good spirits after some rest (and painkillers). Her leg is
starting to bruise up really badly, but she is going to soldier on with us.
